DIRECTIONS TO GREENHEAD FARM B&B in Fife
FROM PERTH AND THE NORTH
TO THE M90
Take the most convenient route from anywhere north of PERTH to Perth and there take the M90 south bound signed for the FORTH ROAD BRIDGE.
FROM THE M90 Take EXIT 7 signed for MILNATHORT. Turn LEFT onto the A91 signed for MILNATHORT and ST. ANDREWS. Go straight across the mini roundabout in the middle of Milnathort and about 250 metres after turn RIGHT on to the A911 signed for LESLIE.Go through the small villages of Wester and Easter Balgedie and Kinnesswood until reaching SCOTLANDWELL.
Turn LEFT in Scotlandwell still on the A911 signposted LESLIE and GLENROTHES. After about ¾ mile there are mature hardwood trees on the left of the road with three houses on the roadside. After the houses (still in the trees) is a mansionhouse entrance gate – to Arnot Tower. Some 20 yards beyond that, still in the trees and just before the top of a rise in the road, take the farm road on the LEFT with a sign GREENHEAD OF ARNOT and a red and yellow flash on a tree. Pass turnings off to the left and right and at the top of the rise, there is a crossroads. Turn right. Beyond the bungalow on the right is the house. It is almost exactly 1.4 miles from the middle of Scotlandwell.
Journey time from both Edinburgh city centre and the airport in normal traffic is about 45 minutes, a little more from the city, a little less from the airport.
FROM THE SOUTH EDINBURGH/EDINBURGH AIRPORT to Greenhead Bed and Breakfast in Fife
FROM CITY CENTRE follow signs for the FORTH ROAD BRIDGE and the A90. Follow the A90 across the bridge when it becomes the M90
FROM THE AIRPORT also follow signs for the FORTH ROAD BRIDGE and the A90. That means turning RIGHT onto the A8 on leaving the Airport. At the next roundabout (Newbridge) take the exit onto the M9. Take the first exit (after 1 mile signed Forth Road Bridge) and that dual carriageway merges with the A90. Follow the A90 across the bridge when it becomes the M90.
FROM THE M90 Take EXIT 5, signposted CROOK OF DEVON and GLENROTHES. Turn RIGHT towards Glenrothes, over flyover and turn LEFT to KINROSS on the B996 and immediately RIGHT to GLENROTHES, on the B9097 along the south side of Loch Leven for a little over 3 miles. At the T junction, turn LEFT onto the B920and almost immediately LEFT again,still on the B920, signposted SCOTLANDWELL. Turn RIGHT in Scotlandwell on to the A911 signposted LESLIE and GLENROTHES.
